Heather McDaniel, ChFC®, CFP®, CDFA®

Heather McDaniel is a financial advisor and cofounder of GEM Wealth. Starting her career in the financial services industry in 2017, Heather became passionate about being a resource to others eager to reach their financial goals. Her hunger to best serve new and existing clients gave her the motivation to achieve her designations as a CFP® Professional and Chartered Financial Consultant. Heather’s comprehensive planning approach encompasses goal-based planning while protecting a financial household from the what ifs in life.

Heather’s dream to launch GEM Wealth came to fruition as she is passionate about being an expert financial advisor, a motivator for helping others reach their goals, and a crutch for when the worst can happen. She sees herself as a financial therapist and connector for other professionals, with a deep passion for empowering other women by providing counsel in navigating the range of emotions money holds and access to other helpful resources.

Heather was born and raised in Pinckneyville, IL, and is proud to call herself a Pinckneyville Panther. She grew up observing the hard work and entrepreneurship displayed by her father, and she strives to resemble the selflessness and giving qualities of her mother. Her athletic career also helped shape the strong work ethic she embodies today.

Heather is involved in many organizations and serves on the LPGA Amateurs Board of Directors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, embracing a focus on Finance. Today she values quality time with family, friends, and her fur babies. In her free time, Heather can’t say no to a round of golf, shopping, or a smoked old fashioned.
