The discovery meeting is typically the first step in the financial planning process between GEM Wealth and a prospective client. This meeting serves as an opportunity for the advisor to gather information about the client's financial situation, goals, concerns, and expectations, and for the client to learn about the advisor's services, expertise, and approach. In addition, we will work together to create your Asset Map, which will act as our roadmap towards achieving your goals. Overall, the discovery meeting sets the foundation for a productive and collaborative relationship between the advisor and client, allowing the advisor to gain insights into the client's financial needs and objectives and to tailor their recommendations accordingly.

 The strategy meeting is a collaborative session between an advisor and the client aimed at developing and refining a comprehensive plan. This session usually follows the initial discovery meeting, during which the advisor gathers information about the client's financial situation, objectives, and preferences. In the strategy meeting, we verify the gathered information, explore recommendations, and outline a course of action for implementation. This meeting is pivotal in the financial planning process, enabling both advisor and client to work together in tailoring a personalized roadmap for achieving the client's financial goals and aspirations.

The implementation meeting marks a pivotal phase in the financial planning journey, during which the client and financial advisor collaborate to execute the agreed-upon recommendations. This session involves reviewing and discussing the recommendations, outlining the implementation timeline, and scheduling a follow-up. Our team will ensure you're kept informed about the progress of implementing your plan. This meeting is fundamental for translating the recommendations outlined in the financial plan into tangible actions that propel clients toward their financial objectives. It encourages collaboration, accountability, and progress toward financial success.

Review

Review

Review meetings are scheduled sessions between an advisor and their client aimed at evaluating the advancement of their financial plan, addressing any alterations in the client's financial circumstances or objectives, and making necessary adjustments to the plan. These meetings are vital for ensuring the financial plan remains congruent with the client's goals and adaptable to changing situations. In the review meeting, we’ll revisit your Asset Map, client profile and discuss any changes that have happened since our last meeting, assessing the headway made towards reaching your financial goals. We will identify any necessary changes that are needed and schedule next steps. The review meetings provide an opportunity for the advisor and client to collaborate, monitor progress, and make well-informed decisions to maintain the financial plan's trajectory toward achieving the client's objectives.
